Low friction coatings
Low friction coatings give surfaces extra ‘slip’ to reduce friction that is caused by products moving over machinery operating up to 280 ͦc.
Low friction Coatings
Low friction coatings provide dry lubrication to mating surfaces enabling machinery and product to move with ease.
Low friction coatings prevent product from getting scratched, machinery getting worn out and reduces heat generated through the build-up of friction as well as improving cleanliness and flow rate and reducing downtime.
Our low friction coatings are dry lubricants so they deliver cleaner and more efficient working solutions than greases, oils and traditional lubricants. With a coat thickness of only 10-20 microns they are suitable for tight tolerance parts and are durable and long lasting.

Bespoke Element
With extensive knowledge and experience of successfully applying low friction coatings onto a variety of substrates (steel, aluminium, copper alloys, rubber and carbon fibre for example), there really aren’t many low friction problems Marcote can’t solve.
Low Friction coatings can be customised to ensure you get the best coating required. Bespoke coatings are made by adjusting coat thickness, colour and surface roughness. We can also add abrasion resistant, non-stick, chemical resistant and corrosion resistant properties to the system.
